One-off grants

One-off grants support specific fixed-term projects with a significant social impact. These grants are intended for non-profit associations, foundations and societal impact companies (SIS) operating in Luxembourg and listed in the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register. Learn about the eligibility terms and criteria here.

To be eligible, the project must fall within one or more of Œuvre's key focus areas: Social, Cultural, Environmental, Sports & Health, Remembrance & Heritage. Only organisations registered in Luxembourg are eligible for financial support and may submit an application. For more information, view the eligibility criteria here.

Applications must be submitted through our online platform (available in french only), on which we ask that you first fill out an introductory form to check that you meet the eligibility criteria. After Œuvre confirms your eligibility, you will have access to the full form. The complete process is explained here.

For your application for a one-off grant to be complete, you must submit supporting documents to supplement your application: (1) a budget, and (2) legal and financial information about your organisation.
The following documents must be submitted with your application:

  • A cover letter addressed to the chair of the board of directors of Œuvre Nationale
  • A copy of your organisation's articles of association
  • A recent extract from the Trade and Companies Register (RCS)
  • A recent extract from the Register of Beneficial Owners (RBE)
  • A copy of your organisation's annual accounts (a recent balance sheet)
  • Your organisation's bank details

The list of documents to submit also appears on our project submission platform (available in french only).

After we receive your fully completed form, your application will be reviewed by our project coordinators and submitted to the board of directors for a final decision. Processing times may vary, but decisions are generally taken during board meetings. View the upcoming meeting dates and submission deadlines here.

Permanent funds

Œuvre has several funds, including the "stART-up" fund for young artists, the "FormatiON" fund aimed at helping to prevent young people from dropping out of school, the "Study trips and exchanges" fund and the "Culture and Creation Award" fund.

Each fund has its own specific criteria based on Œuvre's objectives and different focus areas. To assess whether your project corresponds to a specific fund, view the page on the permanent funds here or contact a member of the project coordination team.

Applications are submitted on our online platform (available in french only), on which we ask that you first fill out an introductory form. This form enables us to confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria before granting you access to the full form. Each permanent fund has specific criteria. The application procedure is described in more detail on the dedicated page for each permanent fund

Submission deadlines vary by fund. To see the current deadlines, check the permanent funds page, under which you will find more detailed information on the different funds.
