The project
I have always wanted to have a constructive impact on the lives of others. By proposing this project within my club, I had the opportunity to combine my passion for tennis with social, human, and sports aspects. I had the opportunity to combine my passion for tennis with the social, human, and sports aspects by proposing this project within my club.
I want to introduce tennis to "extraordinary" people and help them progress and flourish through the practice of this sport by stimulating them on multiple levels: physical, social, psycho-affective, and cognitive.
To date, we have two sections: adapted tennis, dedicated to people with mental or psychological disabilities, and ceci-tennis for visually impaired or blind people. We plan to open a third wheelchair tennis section in September 2022.

Implementation
Until now, we have not been able to offer para tennis classes because our facilities do not allow it. We are waiting for a boost from the City of Luxembourg on this matter. Furthermore, steps have been taken to build accessible toilets as quickly as possible.
Furthermore, I received a lot of non-responses to my requests from institutions. We are giving the project time to become known in the country and we have reached out to our contacts to help us promote the project.
Every individual is capable of progress.

Overall, this first season was a great success. We held 4 regular hours of tennis with twelve participants, who discovered tennis in a regular and enthusiastic manner. We can therefore say that the main objective is fulfilled.
I also notice a strong desire to improve among our participants. It is always a pleasure to support them and see them progress and thrive through the practice of tennis!
The next season also looks very promising: we already have a lot of requests and plan to offer regular classes between 10am and 3pm.
It is important for the club and for me personally to allow everyone to practice tennis and to include people with disabilities in the life of the club. Inclusion is important to us.

Objective
Every individual is capable of progress, regardless of their condition, difficulties, or vulnerabilities, even if this progress is minimal and particularly slow.
Our goal is to develop wheelchair tennis in Luxembourg. To this day, we are the first club to offer tennis lessons adapted to individuals with specific needs. Feel free to share our project with those around you, we would be delighted to welcome new players, both male and female. Do not hesitate to share our project with those around you, we would be delighted to welcome new male and female players.
