As part of strengthening its team, the Œuvre is recruiting a
Cultural Project Coordinator (m/f/x)
Permanent contract, 40 hours per week
Main responsibilities
- Analysis of funding requests: You will be responsible for advising applicants, analyzing the submitted projects, and presenting them to the Board of Directors for decision.
- Project follow-up: You will monitor and evaluate the impact of supported projects through the analysis of written reports and on-site visits, if necessary. You will be in contact with the project leaders throughout the course of their projects and will be the point of contact for any project modifications.
- Writing opinions, minutes, regulations, or practical guides for calls for projects or other initiatives of Œuvre, as well as various notes for the Culture Committee and the Board of Directors.
- Event planning and coordination: You will organize and coordinate events such as roundtables, workshops, conferences, discussion forums, thematic days, exhibitions, and educational projects in close collaboration with the Communication and Executive Secretariat teams.
- Meeting organization and coordination: You will prepare and follow up on meetings of the Culture Committee, the Culture Advisory Committee, juries, and interviews with project leaders or partners of Œuvre, alongside other team members.
- Representation and networking: You will represent Œuvre to beneficiaries, public authorities, and other actors at national and international levels. You will regularly engage with representatives from the cultural sector, such as the Ministry of Culture, Kultur/LX, foundations, artists, and other partners.
- Participation in the development of the Œuvre’s activities: You will propose and make recommendations on future initiatives based on an analysis of structural changes and field needs.
Your Profile
- You hold a Bac+3 to Bac+5 degree, ideally in a field related to culture.
- You have at least 5 years of confirmed experience in managing cultural projects.
- You are fluent in Luxembourgish, French, German, and English.
- You possess excellent writing and organizational skills.
- You are well-versed in the Luxembourgish cultural sector and its local and international networks.
- You have a proven understanding of the associative and philanthropic world and wish to deepen your knowledge in this field; volunteer experience in the associative sector is an asset.
- Beyond the cultural field, you have sensitivity and an interest in one or more of the following areas: Social, Environment, Sport & Health, and Memory & Heritage.
- You are an organized, structured, and rigorous person with excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, as well as strong writing abilities.
- You enjoy working in a team.
