After reading the book "Un secret" by Philippe Grimbert, the 1ère G class from Atert-Lycée Redange took a trip to Paris to explore some of the places mentioned in the book, with the most memorable moment being the visit to the Shoah Memorial.

The idea came from the students themselves, who expressed the desire to discover these places and deepen their knowledge of this historical period. The trip took place without encountering any particular difficulties.

For Nathalie Esser, the greatest satisfaction was to see the profound impact that the visit to the Memorial had on the students:

Spending nearly four hours in this place steeped in history was an intense and moving moment for everyone.

The project is completed and the feedback and results include a better understanding of this period of history and an increased awareness of the importance of remembering the past.

An important lesson learned from this project is the importance of education and awareness of history, in order to never forget the tragic events of the past and draw lessons for the future.

In the long term, the goal is to continue educating and raising awareness among future generations about the lessons of history, hoping to contribute to a fairer and more peaceful future.

Never forget the past. The main motivation to continue this project lies in the commitment and interest of the students and knowing how important it is to pass on the memories of history to future generations to build a better future.
